Evdilos is a beautiful small town in the north part of the island, which happens to be the second port of Ikaria. It is the most important trade center of Ikaria, not forgetting the fact that the majority of tourists that visit the island arrive and leave from Evdilos port. Although Evdilos plays a very vivid role in the commercial life of the island, it preserves its traditional color and character. It is built circularly around the harbor, with its houses modern, traditional and neoclassical seeming to climb over the adjacent hills.
The name Evdilos means "visible from all over" and the truth is that the traveler cannot miss it, either from the sea or land.
There are a lot of touristic facilities, such as travel agencies, car rentals, bank, post office, shops, and a variety of taverns and cafes by the port.
